Jacqueline Wright is a writer/performer. Her plays have been produced/developed with Theatre of NOTE, the Ensemble Studio Theatre (New York & Los Angeles), Ghost Road Company, Occidental College, California Institute of the Arts, Playwright's Arena, The Echo Theater, Animal Show, Cypress College and Northridge State. As a performer/playwright, Wright has received LA Weekly, Backstage and Ovation awards and nominations. Jacqueline is a Jerome Fellowship alternate for her play Love Water and a finalist for Sundance screenwriter's lab for Eat Me. She has written several plays for the Virginia Avenue Project, which matches at-risk youth with theatre artists.
